Open Position for a Master’s Student at Molecular Biology and Genetics

Description:

We are looking for a talented master’s student at molecular biology and genetics to take part in our current project on investigating the association between beta-cell coupling and the progression of diabetes. At biometalab we are investigating the biological and metabolic processes via coupling power of computational modeling with experimental data. Our lab is located at Erzurum Technical University. Our team involves researchers from mathematical and biological backgrounds. We are looking for an enthusiastic master’s student in the field of molecular biology and genetics. The position is for 2 years and the project is funded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). We are investigating the bi-directional relation between the progression of diabetes and the coupling strength between pancreatic beta-cells.

Who we are looking for:

You have a bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology genetics or a related field. You are passionate about science and learning new experimental methods. You are a team player with good verbal and oral communication skills.

What we offer:

The net salary for the successful applicant is 3000 TRY, which is in accordance with  TUBITAK’s regulations. You will also enjoy a compulsory health insurance provided by Erzurum Technical University free of charge.
